Jennifer Ellison sang two pop rock singles. Her first single was "Baby I Don't Care", released in June 2003, which reached number six in the charts. The song was originally released by Transvision Vamp in 1989. The following year in July, after being brought back into the public eye after winning Hell's Kitchen, Jennifer Ellison released her second single, "Bye Bye Boy" - a song from the Japanese singer Nanase Aikawa- which reached number 13 in the UK charts.
Melyssa Ford
In a 2008 CNN interview, Melyssa Ford said that when making music videos she often asked herself whether she was "perpetuating a negative stereotype" about black women. When she was asked whether music videos, overall, are "demeaning to women", Melyssa Ford replied, "Yes, I definitely have to say that."
